2NE1 Unplugs ‘I Don’t Care’ on Inkigayo

There are shouts and murmurs (ok not really the latter, just shouts) about G-Dragon’s solo comeback tonight on Inkigayo, but his YG siblings aren’t getting overshadowed.

2NE1 had a special stage of their own for ‘I Don’t Care’, and let’s just say, the girls really switched it up!

With an acoustic live band and Caribbean feel, this remix is just OOZING with awesome. I love the Jason Mraz-esque style remix, it really shows a different side of these girls. People talk about 2NE1 being a one-trick pony of electronic pop, but this stage really shows off both their versatility and vocal talent. Not only do the girls really pull off the slower-tempo, reggae remix with their laidback appearances and vibratos, but they added personal flavor and rocked it like it was the original version all along. 2NE1 can really carry a performance with their stage presence; even though they aren’t dancing, all four girls seem to be really enjoying themselves. Yes, I’m gushing – but seriously, for a one-stage remix, this is impressive for a girl group.

We know everyone is anxious to see the CASS 2X Beer CF featuring hit superstar Lee Minho and 2NE1’s Sandara Park, so here are some behind the scenes shots of the set!

We began shooting around midnight on Wednesday and ended around sunrise (5:30am). Around 240 extras jumped enthusiastically to the “concert” being performed. We were given glow sticks and Cass Beer to shake, spray and drink. In addition to being drenched in beer, we were sprayed with water hoses as well. It was cold and tiring, but definitely fun!

Lee Minho had a scene in the red Ferrari and then later joined the crowd with Sandara Park, which drove the fan boys crazy. Lee Minho was supposed to spot her in the crowd and then make his way toward her. Of course this is a beer CF, so the moral of the story is that being drenched in beer makes everyone happy, and of course they get together in the end. I’d give away more details, but I don’t want to ruin the fun – so you’ll just have to wait to see the entire CF! I’m looking forward to seeing the final production and my beer drenched self as well… cheers!

I don’t know if you have noticed it.. but i think wooyoung was waving his hand when CL and Dara walks/runs by him on the scene.. It happend when they were singing the song fire at 07.00 to the right in the video.. you can see it in this link:

The reason to why i think it is wooyoung, it is because he was sitting there with the rest of 2pm before 2ne1 performed..

and after Lee hyori’s speech the music from In the club begins at 2.33.. Which was the intro song just before they perform i don’t care…
