News spread like wildfire after the performers attending the 2011 Dream Concert announced via @DreamConcert11 at twitter earlier today.
The Kpop fandom was busy retweeting and sharing the information throughout the twitterverse. Fans all over the world are excited for the said event with top Idol Stars like DBSK, Super Junior, Girls Generation, Shinee, Big Bang, 2NE1, Beast, 2AM, IU, Jay Park, f(x), MBLAQ, 4Minute, After School, Kara and CNBlue are reported to be attending and performing on the said event. A few hours later, the account emphasized that the line up is subject to change.
Held yearly at around May, the Dream Concert has been a venue for Idol Artists from different agencies to come together and bring joy to fans through special stages and one-of-a-kind performances. Last year’s show was sold out within one hour of the opening of ticket sales! However, the 2010 Dream Concert was not spared controversy as there was much argument over seating arrangements. Apparently, fan clubs were ‘assigned’ seats which were, according to them, divided improperly. Super Junior fans were assigned nine sections, while Girls Generation fans had only three. Big stars Rain and Lee Hyori’s fans both had two. Fans took to the message boards to rant blurting out comments like there isn’t enough room, and concern for fans supporting more than one group. Still, the performances were indeed very special and fans are expecting even more this year.
Blackjacks are excited to see what 2ne1 has in store for the Dream Concert this year after the unforgettable performances from last year’s MAMA and the yearly Gayo Daejuns. So mark your calendars this May and make sure to watch the 2011 Dream Concert!
A/N: As said, the line up is subject to change. The said twitter account is also unverified therefore the information should be taken into consideration. No announcement as of yet in the official Dream Concert website.
