M-I-N-Z-Y!

She pops it out so well, we almost cannot believe she’s so young! Well, you might be wondering why I am posting a random picture of Minzy just about right now. Actually, I have been scrolling up and down and I’ve been hopping to one site form another and I noticed that Blackjacks are all hyped up with the girls’ upcoming album, their new digital single and so on and so forth. But at the same time, I was also able to read comments once again comparing 2NE1 and SNSD. So much buzz, ayt? Now, let’s just forget everything, those comparisons and those chart positions. Let’s take a look at our dear maknae Minzy!

But you know what, I also want to praise those Blackjacks who are very respectful towards other girl groups. There might be a lot of bashing going on right now, fan wars and many others but I hope at the end of the day, the music and values being showed to us by our idols will serve as a good example for us. Whew! I’m supposed to be talking about Minzy the Greatest Popper in the house! Hehe I do believe that this was picture was taken last 2009 when the girls are still doing their promotions. Judging from what Minzy wore that day, I conclude that it was the same outfit she had for their last performance at Music Bank last year. Check out the video below:

Hi Everyone! It’s been a while since we made  a major announcement. It’s the first one for this year! 2NE1 is nearing their 1 year in the industry and by August, letsplay2ne1 would celebrate it’s 1st year too!

I hope everyone is happy with what we are doing and we hope that you would continue to support us in the future and how you would support 2NE1 forever.

But we need help from people. The WANT TO BE PART OF US? Email! announcement at the first sticky post has been there for a while but no one really emailed us to apply as a blogger.

Now we would like to tell you again that WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW BLOGGERS and all you need to do is email us. The only requirement is that you have time and sources to be hired! We will ask you a few questions as well.

I hope we will get applications soon.

Next is, the EDITOR OF THE MONTH poll will be closed by January 31 and will reopen by Feb. 7/8. The editor with the most number of posts will be granted 1 week of full management of the blog. I hope that you guys take part of this as long as the poll is open and vote for your favorite writer.

2NE1’s “In The Club” on Inkigayo

With much anticipation brewing after our earlier announcement of 2NE1‘s new stage performance, the 4-member group rocks the stage on SBS Inkigayo with yet another popular track off of their mini-album, “In the Club“.

Based on the title of the song, you may think this is a club banger; however, “In the Club” is actually more of a slow-paced R&B song with the lyrics conveying a story of a girl who tries to escape her pain of loving a playboy for just one night in the club. Likewise, the performance itself was centered around a club setting with stage theatrics similar to that of “I Don’t Care”.

Many viewers were worried that the girls’ packed schedule would impair the girls’ amount of time to practice and lead to a rushed performance, but 2NE1 impresses us yet again tonight. The girls look fantastic coordinated in black and do a good job of showing their emotions and vocal talents yet again. I guess they weren’t kidding around when they said this would be a stage that viewers would be glued to – you’ve gotta love the bar on the side and additional backup dancers.

Unfortunately, a representative of YG Entertainment reported that “The girls will end all activities with their performance on Inkigayo. However, instead of taking a break, they will head back to the practice room in preparation for their next album.”

What a shame; I was really looking forward to a live performance of “Stay Together” on stage. On the other hand, I am greatly anticipating what 2NE1 has to offer next as they set the bar quite high for themselves within the past few months of their debut. Will the fierce quartet be able to maintain the hype and attest to their name of becoming the new evolution of the 21st century?

2NE1 Is Flying High In Heels

2NE1′s fans are used to seeing the foursome on stage in the brightest Nikes or the hottest new kicks in town. This time, when they performed Pretty Boy at Inkigayo, they were seen on stage with shoes that are a little bit different from their usual kicks.

Fans watched as the four girls danced and sung in some pretty high heels. High heels are called high heels but these were HIGH heels. I watch SNSD and other girl groups perform in heels all the time but these have packed on inches more than any other heels I have seen on any other K-Pop artists!
