CL and Gong MinJi dominating music charts with ‘Please Don’t Go’ just 3 days into release

2NE1 CL and Gong MinJi are dominating various online music charts.

Their duet single ‘Please Don’t Go’ is up #1 on various music sites just 3 days into release on 20th November. The song also went up to #1 positions on various realtime charts as soon as it was revealed, up against solo single ‘You and I’ from fellow member Park Bom.

With the girls’ performance of the song on 21st and 22nd November on Mnet MAMA and SBS Love Sharing Concert, the song gained more popularity amongst music fans as can be seen by the results the song achieved on music charts like CyWorld, Dosirak, Mnet, Bugs etc.

 

YG Entertainment said, “The 2NE1 members are working harder because of the love that everyone is showering on them. To put up the musical performance n MAMA, the girls prepared for it over a period of 1 month. And they will continue to work up to put up more good performances in the future.”

2NE1 got nominated in MelOn Music Awards. I really don’t know if I posted this or not. But it wouldn’t hurt posting it again. ^^ Anyway, they have released their Top 10 List of winners. (In no particular order? Sorry I don’t understand Korean that much). It will air December 16, 2009 7- 10 PM KST.

Gdragon, which is the oppa of our girls 2ne1 is very supportive and always care for this dongsaengs. I love how he is very entertained on 2ne1‘s performance. Thunder is such a great dongsaeng. I love how he never forgets to thank or at least mention his noona. I guess Dara and him gets along very well. That’s really good. Females will battle out at the Golden Disk Awards 2009

The award for Best New Artist will be a battle of the females at this year’s Golden Disk Awards, which will air on December 10th at 7PM. As you all undoubtedly know, 2009 has been the year of female idol groups. In the past, the nomination for best new artist would have gone to comparable number of male and female idol groups, but for this year, all four groups nominated happen to only be girl groups. Sorry, guys!

The four female idol group that will be duking it out at this year’s Golden Disk Awards are 2NE1, 4minute, T-ara (Tiara), and f(x). As none of the four groups released a full-length album this year, album sales will not be a factor in deciding which group will receive the coveted award. Instead, the groups will be scored based on sales from their singles, popularity and scores from judges.

Wooott woottt!, I guess at this event we will see a great battle of all new female group this year.
I’m looking really forward on seeing this especially how 2ne1 will bring another change of concept and new routine? probably. We’ll see. So watch out blackjacks. Series of 2ne1 having the same clothes with?

Alright, as you might know we all recognize sometimes that 2ne1 has the same clothes or has been shared clothes with YG family or even just between 2ne1. I find it very amazing to see them having the same clothes because I will feel very flattered if I happen to have the same clothes as them, won’t you too? haha. So lets get to this series of same clothes heh?

First up is CL and Seungho (2ne1′s stylist). What are in your minds? keke, I think I find very interesting on how both of them can work the top in their own way.

Second is Dara and CL. On the event MAMA, CL had wore the same outfit as what Dara had wore on their W korea magazine. I guess CL and their stylist had agreed to like it and decided to wear it for the MAMA event. What do you guys think?

Lastly is Dara and her brother Thunder. On Dara‘s appearance on Family outing, she had wore very great outfits including this one. I’m loving all the hoodies and shirts and I think I’m not the only one who is loving this, but also Thunder, Dara‘s brother. Sister & Brother love heh?

2ne1′s pictures with Penguin hats!

So for 2ne1′s recent activites, they are doing different CFs and one of them is Baskin Robbins. Baskin Robbins is a famous Ice Cream brand. They are over 5, 800 locations it includes the one in South Korea or Seoul to be exact. In my city, they also have Baskin Robbins selling in stores and have their own original store. (I tried this candy of theirs, it strawberry cake candy, woah! it was very tasty and delicious) So while I was looking around the net, luckily I found a new cute pictures of our girls wearing the penguin hats :), its totally cute and worth looking at, with all of their different facial expressions.
